Do you hear me now?

Here is another idea from Allan Taylor.

From time to time, have a “Do you hear me now” Sunday. When you do your outreach time (you do have an outreach time in Sunday School, don’t you?) stop and call, text or Facebook people right then in class. We all have cell phones, right? Why not use them on Sunday morning.

Usually we ask our people to turn their phone off on Sunday morning. Allan asks people to turn them on. Go through the group’s list of members. Call this one. Tell them we miss them. Don’t guilt them. (Allan made a big point of that.) Text that one. Face book one more.

In class. Now. What a time to be alive.
