From my writings and the lessons you use every week, you know that my heart and my mind are centered on helping you acquire Bible knowledge and develop and hone your skills as a Bible teacher.  It’s my passion and I’ve devoted my life’s work to trying to help lay teachers like you handle the Word of God more effectively.  You know me.

On a less serious note, you also know that I like free stuff - - getting it and giving it.  That’s why I asked Steve Guidry, the publisher atsundayschooluniversity.com to give you something for free.  You may recall that last month I sent you a note about his offer of a free month subscription to their Video Sunday School Lesson Previews.  As a reminder, these Video Sunday School Previews feature their expert trainer’s thoughts on the Bible passage you’re teaching THIS WEEK, as well as teaching tips and Bible-to-life application points you can use directly as you prepare to teach this week.  They’re available  for both of the Lifeway’s dated curriculum series :  Bible Studies for Life and Explore the Bible.

Steve tells me that a few of you did respond and are now using the videos to enhance your  teaching . . . but only a few.  Frankly, I’m puzzled that "only a few" of you took him up on his offer of a free one-month subscription.  I mean - - EVERYone likes free stuff, right ?   So this month, Steve and I have teamed up to make it even easier for you to try the Previews . . .  just click this link and you’re in : www.sundayschooluniversity.com/samples.  You can see this week’s Video preview in its entirety for free, with no registration or card requirement.  You don’t even have to give your email address.  You’ll also see excerpts for the rest of the May’s videos as well.

As I said last time, there’s really nothing to lose . . . it’s free.

P. S.  In a spirit of full disclosure, I should tell you that I’ve created some of the content for SSU before, and I probably will do more for them in the future.  (I believe in their product.)
