Why can't we all just get along?By far and away the greatest frustration I had as a parent was sibling rivalry. I remember hearing parents of an only child complaining about the stress of parenting. I would shake my head and wonder what in the world they had to stress about. If you took sibling rivalry out of the picture, parenting was a walk in the park. David wrote, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” Psalm 133:1 (NIV2011) How good and pleasant indeed. My kids taught me—and I am sure that my grandbabies will reinforce this truth in time—that life is better if we can all get along. This lesson will deal with the value of learning to getting along, and offer some practical tips on how to get along with almost everyone. God wants His children to get along. I have been in hundreds of churches conducting conferences and I can tell you that this is a much-needed lesson. What keeps church life from being any fun is that people can’t get along. What keeps the church from growing is often that people can’t get along. What halts discipleship is that people can’t get along. Why can’t we all just get along? 8 ready-to-use, discussion-based Bible lessons on the topic: What My Grandbabies Taught Me About Theology. You might not think that a newborn could teach anything about anything. I mean, what does a baby know? Here is what I learned when I held my grandbaby for the first time: Lesson #1 Lesson #2 Lesson #3 Lesson #4 Lesson #5 Lesson #6 Lesson #7 Lesson #8 This study is available on Amazon, as well as part of my Good Questions Have Groups Talking subscription service.
