Both of these conferences are free and open to the public. Hope to see some of you there!
Your church is perfectly tuned to get the results you are now getting. If you keep doing what you have been doing, you will keep getting what have been getting. If you change. . .
Well, you might lose your job. It might be a big brouhaha.
This book is about changing your church and keeping your job. It is based on sound biblical principles of change. It is informed by the latest research on change. It is illustrated through countless stories that I have experienced in churches that I have worked with.
This book is not about navigating any one-time change. It is not about becoming more like Saddleback or Willow Creek. It is about transitioning from a static church to be a continually changing church.
Churches should be continually changing because Christians should be continually changing. Christian living is about changing, and therefore, church life should be about changing. As the Scripture says, “from one glory to another.” (2 Corinthians 3:18)
But, as I have witnessed, the change is not always glorious. I’d like to help you to navigate the change process and avoid the pitfalls that can potentially cause untold heartache.
