Part Time / Interim Minister of Ed

I have logged over 2 million lifetime miles on American Airlines alone teaching teachers to teach and reach people through their groups. Lately, I am longing to go deeper.

I wonder if there is a church out there that I could partner with on a deeper level. Something closer to a part time staff member.

I am thinking this would be ideally suited to two kinds of churches:

• Churches that are between Ministers of Education
• Churches that are need a Minister of Education, but are not quite at a place to be able to afford one.

I have in mind about three 10-day trips a year. We might look at the following activities during this ten days:

• First weekend: one of the following seminars—
  • You Can Double Your Class in Two Years or Less
  • Disciplemaking Teachers
  • Teach Like Jesus
  • Make Your Group Grow
  • Good Questions Have Groups Talking
  • One Magnificent Obsession
  • Change Your Church or Die
  • 10 Marks of Incredible Teachers
• First Sunday. Preach and/or teach in one class.
• Next week
  • Meet with staff
  • Meet with as many teachers as possible for one-on-one coaching/ discipling.
  • (Note: I will need to keep up my lesson-writing schedule.)
• Second weekend: model hosting parties with one staff and one teacher.
• Second Sunday. Preach and/or teach one class.

Repeat this process three times a year.
