America needs a Spiritual Awakening.

As you know, America has experienced several spiritual awakenings and each began as the result of a small group people gathering for prayer and Bible study. At Sunday School University, we pray that your Sunday School class would be the instrument that God uses to begin the next revival in your church that would spread to all of Kentucky and the world.
As you may know, Ronnie Floyd, our SBC President, has written an upcoming series for LifeWay’s Bible Studies for Life curriculum entitled AWAKE : The Call to a Renewed Life. If ever there were a timely set of Sunday School Lessons, these would be they.
The dates, titles and scriptures for these studies will be :
July 19 - Return to God – Jonah 1:1-3; 3:1-5,10
July 26 - Return to Your First Love – Revelation 2:1-7
August 2 - Return to Prayer – Nehemiah 1:3-10
August 9 - Return to God’s Word – Nehemiah 8:1-8
August 16 - Return to Unity – Acts 4:31-37
August 23 - Return to the Task – Acts 13:1-3,44-52
Dr. Tim Smith, State Missionary for Sunday School/Small Group Ministries of the Georgia Baptist Convention has prepared a series of essays on each of these lessons which we will be distributing via our website, sundayschooluniversity.com. They're designed to help individual Sunday School teachers promote Awakening in their own classes and church.
