Not sure if Sunday night worship is working? Take a night off. Take every holiday off. Take a liberal definition of holiday. Take the summer off.

I knew of one church that cancelled the Sunday night service on a four-year plan:

• Year #1: 50 Sunday night services.
• Year #2: 40 Sunday night services.
• Year #3: 30 Sunday night services.
• Year #4: Occasional Sunday night services for special events.

Not sure if Wednesday night is working? Take a break for a while. Get more done by doing less. Get there a little bit at a time. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

We are going to switch gears now—from changing a church to changing a denomination.
