Johnny Hunt on Heaven and Hell

Godly saints live with eternity in mind. They live with a daily awareness that this world is not our home, we are just passing through. They are sold out to the cause of glorifying God by doing all they can to get people out of Hell and into Heaven.

Pulpits today say too little of Heaven and Hell. Preachers are too cautious to offend. We can’t get people out of Hell and into Heaven by ignoring the subject.

The great revivals were fueled, in part, with sermons on Heaven and Hell. The classic example, or course, is Jonathan Edwards’ sermon, Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God. Although that tone may not be appropriate to today’s world, the message is timeless.

Brandon Park is one of the God-anointed preachers of the next generation. He fills his pulpit each Sunday with solid biblical sermons on fire with the Holy Spirit.

This book is about an important topic: what happens after this life is over. It is solidly biblical and communicated with compassion, conviction and clarity.
