Look around the room

Look around the room.

Before (and especially after) small group, it is normal for people to huddle up in little clusters of two or three or four. This is where the real sharing happens. This is where the fellowship happens. This is where the life on life happens. It feels really good to be in these clusters of two or three or four.

But, when you are in the cluster, you might make a habit of doing one thing. You might train your leadership to do this too. Look around the room.

Look around the room to make sure no one is left out of those little clusters. It feels really good to be in one of those little clusters; it feels really bad to be on the outside.

Look around the room.

If anyone is left out, leave your cluster immediately and go over and talk to the one who is left out. If you don't, I can guarantee you this: they won't be back.

Look around the room.
