5.0 out of 5 stars This will revolutionize your teaching, July 6, 2012
This review is from: Good Questions Have Small Groups Talking (Kindle Edition)
I thought I knew it all--religion major at Baylor, MRE from Southwestern Seminary, years as minister of education, frequent leader of conferences on teaching, and a teacher of Bible from age13 to 78. Now I infrequently substitute for an excellent teacher who uses lecture method exclusively. I love seeing the class come alive when I apply what I have learned from Josh. SO GLAD to get this now for my Kindle app on my iPad!

5.0 out of 5 stars No question about asking questions, July 3, 2012
This review is from: Good Questions Have Small Groups Talking (Kindle Edition)
Great book. You could call it the theology of asking questions. Josh Hunt gets it. It's about teaching people, not just teaching a lesson. If you want involvement, questions are the key. I've witnessed too many small groups that lectured me to boredom. Didn't get anything from it that I didn't have to manufacture. Yuck.
Josh tells us and shows us the hows and whys of good questions. Loved it. Checked out his web site on questions for LifeWay Bible studies. Great stuff. Use it every Sunday. I study the lesson for personal edification. But when I teach it, I weave my lesson around his questions. The folks love it. Easy for them to participate. My only worry is that I don't just whip out the questions without personal study. That would rob me of good Bible study.
I highly recommend this book and subscribing to the web site. I love it!
