Always ask this question with you study the Bible

Truth is nearly always a careful balance between two extremes. The smartest man who ever lived said:

Ecclesiastes 7:18 (NIV) It is good to grasp the one and not let go of the other. Whoever fears God will avoid all extremes.

Jesus spoke of the narrow way. I believe it is narrow because it is easy or fall off one side or the other.

Whenever you study the Bible in order to teach the Bible, you need to ask the question: what else does the Bible say?

It is easy to run across a verse and start pounding the pulpit on that truth without realizing there is a balancing truth that is equally important.
